Our Story: From Sweden to Western Canada
Our journey began with an adventure. Traveling from Sweden to explore the Canadian countryside, our founder found more than just a beautiful landscape — he found a reason to stay. Captivated by life here, and wanting to bridge his roots with his new home, he partnered with his brother-in-law to begin importing exceptional European furnishings to Canada.
Through hard work, passion, and an unwavering commitment to quality, that initial spark grew. In 1992, Sofa Land officially became a family owned and operated business.
Operations have proudly transitioned to the second generation. While the styles and trends have evolved over the decades, our core mission remains exactly the same: delivering beautiful, high-quality furniture at a practical, affordable price.
