Deposits and Refunds
A deposit equivalent to 50% of the value of the merchandise purchased is required to place a Custom Order. Stocked items require 100% payment in full to reserve merchandise. Deposits will only be refunded to the same credit or debit card used to make the purchase. Deposits made by cash will be refunded on the debit card of the person who paid cash for the order, and if that person is not present, the deposit will be refunded by cheque and mailed to the person who paid cash for the order.
Deposits on Custom Order items are non-refundable.
“As-Is” and “Final Sale” Items
All items marked “AS-IS” or “FINAL SALE” are accepted as is, and are non-returnable.
Fees and Conditions
Local In-Home Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns for goods previously delivered and set up in the home are subject to a $99 fee. Restocking fees of 25% will also apply.
Rural In-Home Pick Up Fees
Merchandise returns for goods previously delivered and set up in the home are subject to a fee. Refer to Rural Delivery Fee chart for applicable fee. Restocking fees of 25% will also apply.
Delivery Fees
Any fee that has been charged for a delivery that has been attempted is considered a final sale and is non-refundable.
Stocked Merchandise Conditions
Merchandise purchased from stock but not picked up or delivered can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, a 10% cancellation fee will apply, or we will offer a one-time re-selection with no fees. Excludes final-sale and discontinued products.
Merchandise purchased from stock that has been picked up or delivered may be returned within 48 hours of pick up or delivery, subject to a 25% re-stocking fee, or we will offer a one-time re-selection with no fees.
Goods not returned within 48 hours are considered final sale and are non-returnable.
Custom Orders Conditions
Custom-ordered items are ordered specifically for you and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or cancelled. All efforts are made to ensure your merchandise arrives within the estimated time period. However, since these “ETA’s” are based on industry averages, there will not be any compensation (monetary or otherwise) for unforeseen delays. Differences in dye lots, leather variations, and wood grain will happen in certain instances and are deemed normal in fine furniture.

If within 60 days of your purchase you see identical merchandise at a lower published price by an authorized Canadian dealer in the same local trading area under the same terms and conditions, Sofa Land will gladly credit you the difference upon verification of the details. Excludes clearance, AS-IS, and discontinued products.
